Tri-Parish Bicentennial Celebration

St. Charles, St. James, and St. John Parishes joined together to celebrate the bicentennial. The River Region Arts and Humanities Council presented “Herons in the Hall” on June 2, 2007, at San Francisco Plantation in Garyville, Louisiana.

Following the bicentennial celebrations, in 2008 the parish moved forward anticipating the future. The 2007 election of a new parish president and council set in motion plans for continued growuth the ever-changing way of life on the German Coast – St. Charles Parish.
