Francis Robicheaux Jr.

Francis Robicheaux Jr., native son, who grew up in Destrehan, attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Elementary School and graduated from St. Charles Catholic High. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago with a master's and doctorate in physics. He was a professor of physics at Auburn University and a member of the CERN team that captured antimatter atoms for the first time. He has been a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy since 2013 at Purdue University.
